Kathryn Hahn is following in the footsteps of Reese Witherspoon in “Tiny Beautiful Things,” one other challenge based mostly on a Cheryl Strayed e book. Witherspoon performed the creator in 2014’s “Wild” and Hahn will painting a personality based mostly on her in “Tiny Beautiful Things,” an upcoming Hulu sequence that counts Witherspoon amongst its exec producers. “How did I get so far from the person I wanted to be?” Clare (Hahn) asks in a brand new trailer for the drama.
By her personal admission, Clare’s life is “a mess.” She explains, “My husband kicked me out a few days ago. My daughter hates me.” When an outdated pal means that the floundering author take a job as an recommendation columnist, she’s skeptical about her suitability. “I’m not giving anybody advice,” Clare insists. She finally agrees to tackle the function, a call that evokes her to replicate on her previous, current, and future.
“Tiny Beautiful Things” launches on Hulu April 7. Rachel Goldenberg (“Minx”), Desiree Akhavan (“Hacks”), and Stacie Passon (“Dickinson”) direct. Liz Tigelaar (“Little Fires Everywhere”) created the sequence and serves as showrunner.
