A trailer has arrived for Michelle Williams and Kelly Reichardt’s fourth collaboration, “Showing Up.” Set in Portland, the drama tells the story of Lizzie (Williams), a ceramicist struggling to make a reputation for herself in the artwork world.
With an essential present only a week away, Lizzie finds herself feuding with two fellow artists. “I don’t know what I’m supposed to do without hot water,” she tells her landlady, Jo (Hong Chau, “The Whale”), who can also be a scholar on the college Lizzie is finding out at.
