Teyana Taylor insists that she’s keen to “go to war” for her son in a brand new trailer for “A Thousand and One,” the winner of the Grand Jury Prize at this 12 months’s version of Sundance Film Festival. The drama facilities round Inez (Taylor), a girl who kidnaps her six-year-old son, Terry, from the foster care system. The spot means that the mom and son’s secret doesn’t keep beneath wraps indefinitely.
Years go. Now a star pupil, Terry is poised for the likes of MIT and Harvard. “Something’s going to happen. I can feel it,” Inez says. And it does. “Have you told anyone else about this?” we see Terry being requested by a college administrator.
“A Thousand and One” hits theaters March 31.
