First-year regulation college students on the University of Wisconsin have been reportedly compelled to attend a โre-orientationโ that was all about race โฆ and, apparently, how white persons are the worst.
According to the Federalist โ which cites sources who say they have been in attendance, to not point out screengrabs of the alleged session/supplies โ this went down final week โฆ and the DEI-inspired crash course on race and privilege was obligatory for a bunch of students.
As half of the orientation, college students have been reportedly requested to finish a worksheet with a quantity of weird prompts โ together with one which inspired the scholars to โTell the Truthโ and increase, in writing, โhow deep racism goes in my lifeโ amongst different confessionals.
The NY Post even claims that some of the literature they have been requested to learn up on earlier than this re-orientation contained a line that mentioned โthere are no exceptional white people.โ
Other matters like shade blindness have been slammed as inherently racist โ and one of the alleged workouts college students have been inspired to partake in was to share racial slurs for various minority teams โฆ all in an effort, it appears, to interrupt down stereotypes and tropes.
My favourite and most tangible useful resource has been โ28 Common Racist Attitudes & Behaviors.โ It outlines the issues that white folx say, do, or imagine; their which means; their influence; and how one can reframe for racial justice. https://t.co/hx4WjGC3wY
