One of Us Is Lying‘s mystery texter, aka Simon Says, works overtime in the Peacock thriller’s newly launched Season 2 trailer. And that implies that the partitions are closing in on the central gang because the sequence prepares to return for its sophomore outing on Thursday, Oct. 20.

Season 1 of the drama explored what occurred when 5 excessive schoolers walked into detention and solely 4 made it out alive. The suspects eyed for the dying of classmate Simon (Wayne‘s MarkMcKenna) included Bronwyn (The Purge‘s Marianly Tejada), Nate (Unverified‘s Cooper van Grootel); Addy (Cobra Kai‘s Annalisa Cochrane), and Cooper (American Housewife‘s Chibuikem Uche).

In the finale, Bronwyn, Nate, Cooper and Addy realized that Addy’s boyfriend/Simon’s former good friend Jake was behind Simon’s homicide. During a confrontation within the woods, a shot rang out; lengthy story brief, Jake was close to dying, bleeding profusely from an stomach wound. Two weeks later, the police believed that Jake had run away, whereas every member of Murder Club received a mysterious textual content from Simon Says: “Do as I tell you.
