In the TikTook clip, Kaitlin Brooks and Cody Sheehan stand on the altar throughout their September wedding ceremony in what’s imagined to be essentially the most intimate and sacred a part of any wedding ceremony ceremony: the change of vows. However, when Cody was up, he proved to be a person of few phrases:
“I promise to smack that ass every chance I get.”
UMMMM…
No, we’re critical… That was the extent of his vows! He confirmed it by including, “That’s all I got.” Even the officiant appeared shocked, asking:
“Is that it?”
Cody replied, “Yeah.” Puzzled seems to be had been plentiful because the officiant pleaded, “Come on, Cody, are you sure?” to which the groom responded, chuckling:
“I didn’t write nothing out.”
WOW.
Once extra, the officiant requested, “That’s what you’re going out with?” which Cody confirmed:
“That’s what I’m going with.”
Holy s**t… If we had been that bride, we’d be PISSED. We didn’t hear her vows, however judging by the look on her face, she most likely took them a LOT extra significantly. Poor woman.
Surprised by his lack of phrases — and decency — the officiant went on, as Cody blew off any doubts in regards to the relationship. He stated pragmatically:
“We’ve made it this long.”
Ch-ch-check out the wild second (beneath):

We agree! Though a couple of gave the groom the good thing about the doubt, saying perhaps that’s simply how they’re? Even nonetheless, that’s a tricky one to defend!
This is similar footage Maren Morris stitched in her Sunday TikTook, which celebrated the finalization of her divorce. Yeah, not the very best endorsement of marriage as an entire, is it?
