Following their eclectic fifth studio album, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, Waterparks have launched their newest single, “SNEAKING OUT OF HEAVEN.”
The monitor options glitchy electronics and confessional lyrics because the band proceed to maneuver past their pop-punk roots and get extra experimental with their sound. “We grew up loving and still loving blink-182, Green Day, Sum 41, and Good Charlotte, so it’s in our DNA to a degree, but I just don’t want that [pop-punk] label because it’s so synonymous with the past and what cynical dickheads or mega naysayers say is just for preteens and kids,” Awsten Knight shared throughout their cowl story interview earlier this yr. “However, the biggest reason I didn’t want that label is that I know [exactly] what we are capable of and what our output is.”

The band may even embark on an intensive North American headline run in 2024, dubbed the SNEAKING OUT OF HEAVEN TOUR, with Loveless. Tickets go on sale Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. native time right here.
