Weezer‘s 1994 debut album Blue Album turns 30 subsequent 12 months, and the band are gearing up to celebrate. Rivers Cuomo says in a brand new interview with Collider that an expanded reissue and an anniversary tour are on the best way.
“We are going to give it its due respect and come out with a really amazing deluxe package with a bunch of additional material, and of course, we’ve gotta do some kind of epic tour,” he says.

Weezer’s 2024 U.Okay. tour with the Smashing Pumpkins ends in June, and Cuomo says “there’s this very suspicious blank space in our calendar for months after that, so I’d keep your eye on that.”
Weezer beforehand gave Blue Album a deluxe reissue for its tenth anniversary in 2004, and so they carried out each Blue and Pinkerton at a sequence of particular 2010 exhibits.
