Hollywood writers putting for truthful pay and protections towards synthetic intelligence are getting some air assist … in the type of a humorous banner flying over the main studios.
The banner reads … “Pay the writers, you AI-Holes” … and on Monday, a small airplane towed it above Amazon, CBS, FOX, Netflix, Paramount, Sony, Universal and Warner Bros.
On the floor, writers proceed to pack the picket strains as the strike enters its third week … with neither facet exhibiting indicators of ending the stalemate.
The strike is unquestionably getting ugly … along with the airplane banner, a large, inflatable rat popped up exterior Amazon Studios … the enormous rodent is holding baggage of cash, sporting a tuxedo and smoking a cigar. The messaging right here is something however delicate.
As for who’s funding the airplane and the banner … we’re advised the cash is coming from donations from numerous unions supporting the putting writers.
