Before starring in When Harry Met Sally, Crystal had already launched his on-screen profession as an everyday on Saturday Night Live since 1984 and showing in movies resembling This is Spinal Tap and The Princess Bride.
Outside of cinema, Crystal labored alongside Hollywood greats, Whoopi Goldberg and Robin Williams on the initiative Comic Relief. The annual stand-up comedy present began in 1986 as a option to elevate cash and consciousness round homelessness.
Following the large success of When Harry Met Sally and City Slickers, Crystal was launched to A-lister standing, showing in movies resembling Analyze This and because the voice of Mike Wazowski in Monster’s Inc.

He instructed IndieWire that his choice to return to directing stemmed from how “connected” he felt to the script.
“It moved me, and it still moves me,” Crystal revealed.
Crystal has been married to his spouse Janice Crystal since 1970. The couple have two daughters and at the moment are proud grandparents!
