Next month Oni Press will launch Quinnelope and the Cookie King Catastrophe. The all-ages graphic novel is the debut for the inventive workforce of H.F. Brownfield and Kayla Coombs. It follows the titular Quinnelope on a quest to find why all the cookies in Pleasant Towne have gone lacking. Today The Beat is happy to supply an unique preview of the graphic novel.

Quinnelope wakes up one morning to be taught all the cookies in her kingdom have gone lacking. Dun dun DuUuuUUuUUUnNN!!!! The bakery and grocery retailer aisles are filled with muffins however NO COOKIES. What is a cookie-obsessed queen imagined to do?! Solve the thriller of the cookie disaster, in fact! Along along with her dutiful butler, Bub, and dependable companion, Star, the trio set out on a mission to seek out the lacking cookies and restore these tasty treats to Pleasant Towne as soon as once more.

But their quest isn’t as straightforward because it sounds. Womp-wompppp. They’ll must battle via a cookie-dough volcano, confront the chocolate chipmunk mountain, face off towards egg-splosive enemies, and extra in order to trace down the lacking Cookie King.
