The Chicago White Sox positioned right-hander Mike Clevinger on the 15-day injured listing Friday, retroactive to Thursday, due to proper biceps irritation
In a corresponding transfer, the White Sox recalled right-hander Jesse Scholtens from Triple-A Charlotte
Clevinger, who had an IL stint in late May with proper wrist irritation, left his final begin after throwing a pitch within the fifth inning of an 8-4 win Wednesday over the host Los Angeles Dodgers. He underwent analysis and testing Thursday and, on the time, was happy with the prognosis.

He has undergone two Tommy John surgical procedures in his profession (2012, 2020), which covers 5 years with Cleveland (2016-20), two with San Diego (2020, 2022) and the present marketing campaign with Chicago.
