Adedamola Adefolahan, the Nigerian singer, who’s popularly often known as Fireboy DML, has stated that 2023 has taught him to take pleasure in his wealth and recognize “God’s blessings” as a substitute of chasing extra success.

He stated 2023, being a “relatively slow year” for him musically, made him see life from a distinct perspective.

Speaking in a latest interview with Cool FM, Lagos, Fireboy stated;

“This 12 months, greater than ever, has taught me to take a break, calm down and recognize God’s blessings as a substitute of chasing increasingly success.

“This 12 months, being like a comparatively gradual 12 months for me [musically], type of like put issues in perspective like, ‘Okay, maybe, it’s time to get off that top and calm down; take a deep breath. There’s household. Enjoy the wealth you’ve gathered. Appreciate the issues round you and cease chasing success.

“This year I’m relaxing. I’m always at home, I’m recording in the studio. On Sundays, I play football. And once in a while, when I miss the attention of the ladies, I hangout with them.”
