Omokri blamed former President, Muhammadu Buhari for the present hardship within the nation.

A former presidential spokesman, Reno Omokri has claimed he is aware of why Nigeria is broke and experiencing hardship.

Speaking on Tuesday, he mentioned Nigeria is broke and experiencing hardship as a result of former President, Muhammadu Buhari borrowed greater than all earlier administrations mixed.

He acknowledged this on Twitter.

He wrote:-

“And the explanation why is that Nigeria is broke. And Nigeria is broke as a result of General Buhari borrowed greater than all earlier governments mixed.

“We can not preserve borrowing to eat. Please fact-check me. If we preserve borrowing, we are going to solely move the hardship to our kids. Let us bear it now and move prosperity to the following era.

“Others are sad with the results of the final election and are weaponising the present hardship to convey down the present administration. Listen, I, Reno Omokri, urge you to face with Nigeria. Not with Tinubu. Tinubu is only a momentary occupant of Aso Rock. Whether in 2027 or 2031, he’ll go away someday.

Nobody is coming to avoid wasting Nigeria. It is just Nigerians that may save Nigeria. Local manufacturers could or might not be pretty much as good as overseas ones, however with continued patronage, they’ll enhance in high quality.

“Buy them, and your Naira will rise along with your personal happiness and the international rating of the green Nigerian passport. Your value is tied to Nigeria’s value. Buy Nigerian and Nigeria’s foreign reserves, trade balances, and debt to GDP ratio will automatically improve.”
