On Monday, January 8, 2024, Agboola Adebayo, a 28-year-old man, was ordered into custody at a correctional heart by the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Court.
This adopted his arraignment by the Lagos State authorities on expenses of unlawfully having sexual activity with a 9-month-old child.

Justice Rahman Oshodi thereafter remanded Adebayo on the correctional facility and adjourned the case until March 25, 2024, for a listening to.
Earlier, the state counsel, Bukola Okeowo, informed the courtroom that Adebayo dedicated the offence on March 23, 2023, within the White Sand Area of Ijora, Badiya, Lagos.
Okeowo submitted that the defendant defiled the newborn by having illegal s3xual intercourse along with her.
The prosecutor additionally stated that the defendant unlawfully induced grievous hurt to the kid by inflicting critical accidents on her v*gina.
The offence contravenes the Criminal Laws of Lagos State (2015) and is punishable by life imprisonment.
