Wind Chaser Under the Blue Sky by Chien Jason from Taiwan from Gaea Books has gained the 17th International Manga Award.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan based the International Manga Award in 2007 for the objective of increasing worldwide trade and mutual understanding by means of Manga tradition round the world. This award honors Manga creators outdoors of Japan who’ve added to the tradition. This is the 17th such award, the chair of the ministry is Kamikawi Yoko, Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs, and for the choice of the awards, manga artist Satonaka Machiko. The gold winner was Wind Chaser Under the Blue Sky by Chien Jason from Taiwan, revealed by Gaea Books.
