Woody Allen says he is open to reconnecting with his estranged children.
The movie director opened up about his youngsters Dylan and Ronan Farrow in a rare interview at the Venice Film Festival, the place he’s premiering his new movie Coup de Chance.

Dylan, whom Allen adopted with his then-partner Mia Farrow in 1985, alleged Allen had molested her in 1992 when she was seven years outdated.

In the Variety interview, Allen doubled down on his innocence.
“There was nothing to it,” he mentioned of the 2021 docuseries. “The fact that it lingers on always makes me think that maybe people like the idea that it lingers on. You know, maybe there’s something appealing to people. But why? Why?”
When the outlet requested the director if he appears like he is been “cancelled”, he replied: “I just find that all so silly.”
“I don’t know what it means to be cancelled. I know that over the years everything has been the same for me. I make my movies. What has changed is the presentation of the films.”

Though his movie Coup de Chance acquired a three-minute standing ovation at the premiere, protesters exterior took difficulty with Allen’s presence in the competition.
According to Variety, shirtless protesters handed out flyers urging the organisers to “turn the spotlight off of rapists”.
