Nigerian singer and entrepreneur, Mr Eazi give insights into how he created the ‘Zagadat’ catchphrase which was impressed by legendary singer, 2BABA and Jamaican dancehall star, Beenie Man.

He revealed that his catchphrase “Zagadat” was influenced by lyrics from 2Face’s ‘Nfana Ibaga’ remix that includes Beenie Man.

During an interview with Capital Xtra, UK, Mr Eazi clarified that he couldn’t face copyright points with the slang as a result of he didn’t utter it in the identical method because it was introduced within the music.

In his phrases;

“Big shout out to Beenie Man. Beenie Man and 2Face. I bought my catchphrase ‘Zagadat’ from their music ‘Nfana Ibaga’ remix. From the half, ‘And the Lord say let there be light. Zagazaga za.’ That’s the place it’s from, bro.
